Two years on…

It occurred to me the other day that is over two years since my low fodmap journey started when I was diagnosed with IBS.

For the last year, I have been living a modified low-fodmap lifestyle, tailored to suit my triggers while allowing me the things that for me, are safe.

This has meant that a lot of the recipes I have been using haven’t really been suitable for posting here, as they aren’t suitable for those in elimination and so forth.

In the last few months, my diet has taken another complicated turn too, as I have been diagnosed as having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) requiring more dietary modification on top of the tailored low-fodmap diet I am following.

While this means that even more than before my diet is a bit off-topic when it comes to low fodmap, I want to keep this site open as I see that people are still using it and finding value, especially in their early stages of their low fodmap journeys, and that is exactly what I created it for.

While I may not be posting as much here, if you have any questions or even just want to vent, please don’t hesitate to give me a shout!

In the meantime, I am sending my best wishes and luck to you all, no matter where you are on your low-fodmap journeys at this point in time.
