You can’t eat what?

So, it has been a night of looking at the Monash website and reading up to try and wrap my head around what Fodmaps really are.

So far, my mind is still boggling from the info, but one thing is clear – this Monash app is going to be a lifesaver! Even if I have to be careful and double check its results with my do and don’t list from my dietician, as there are some conflicts – I am putting this down to the fact that I am in the super strict elimination mode right now.

I went out with family today for Australia Day followed by a BBQ, and experienced my first bout of feeling like a total pain in the arse – something that I think I am going to possibly be feeling a fair bit on this diet.

Argh, going to need to find a way to stop eye-rolling at myself, I am more of a worry than everyone else when it comes to judging myself. My family are the most supportive group of people in the world, and if I can still make myself feel like a pain in the butt for having a medical reason for needing a varied diet, then I am obviously  in the top of the class fro when it comes to self-flagellation – note to self: cut that out.

Anyhow, onwards and upwards!
